Earlier this month, Up and Beyond Support Services lit up Preston Market with our first-ever NDIS community pop-up stall – bringing fun, warmth and plenty of heart to a chilly Saturday! This wasn’t just about showcasing what we do. It was about building meaningful connections, celebrating inclusion and being present with the people we support.
Led by our passionate and caring nurse-led support team, Up and Beyond is proud to be a champion for individuals with disabilities. Our mission? Helping participants live their best, most independent lives with dignity and respect.
Our stall was a friendly and welcoming space for everyone – from NDIS participants and families to curious locals and fellow community advocates. We shared information about our NDIS services, including daily living support, community access and tailored participant support plans. But the real highlight? The conversations.
Throughout the day, our team engaged in warm, genuine chats – answering questions, sharing laughs and learning more about what the Preston community truly needs. It wasn’t just about providing information; it was about listening and understanding. That two-way exchange is at the core of how we work.
This pop-up truly reflected Up and Beyond’s values of community connection and participant empowerment. By showing up in the heart of Preston, we aimed to break down barriers, raise awareness about disability support services and ensure that everyone feels more seen, heard and supported. The whole day had an uplifting, inclusive vibe – a perfect reminder that real community care isn’t just about programs or plans. At the end of the day, our Preston Market Pop-Up was a huge win for getting the word out and, more importantly, for bringing some genuine good vibes and enriching experiences to our community.
